Our Founders
As the oldest grandchild on both sides of her family, the owner, Jamie, had always watched over her little cousins growing up. Later she would find herself working at a child care center, where she discovered her true passion for working with children.
Being a mother first, she realized that there were not many high-quality child care options available in the Omaha area. She worked for several large corporations and felt people didn’t seem to matter to them. They were only interested in the bottom line.
Jamie says, — “I wanted to be able to provide quality child care to families in an atmosphere that felt like family. I wanted to help people raise and educate their children, not just watch them and send them home. I finally took the leap and became an owner, and I have never looked back!”
Jamie continually strives to make Pre-K & Play Acadamy one of the best child care centers in the area, so your child receives the best headstart possible — right from the beginning.
